Mrs Oyegbola, Olasunkanmi Mopileola a Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Management, (MNIM) and Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM) was born in 1967, in Olowogbowo, Lagos Island.

She attended Jubril Martins Memorial Grammar School, Iponri between1978-1983 and Methodist Girls High School, Yaba between1983-1985 for her WASC O’ Levels and WASC A’ Levels respectively.   

In pursuit of her academic career, She proceeded to the University of Ibadan, where she bagged Bachelors Degree in Sociology in 1988 and Master Degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos in 2010.

After her stint in the private sector, Sunkanmi Oyegbola joined the service of the Lagos State Government in November, 2001 as a Senior Admin. Officer – GL 10 and was deployed to Civil Service Pensions Office, she was later deployed to State Universal Basic Education Board between (2005- 2008), Thereafter she served at Office of the Deputy Governor as Administrative Assistant/ Desk Officer Support Our Schools Programme between (2008- 2011), State Tenders Board (2011- 2014), Public Procurement Agency (2014 -2015), Public Service Office/Office of the Head of Service (2015 to date).

Sunkanmi Oyegbola is a highly resourceful and self- motivated Officer. Always willing to accept responsibility, trustworthy and a good team player. Punctual and very reliable, she is a very result- oriented Officer often using her personal resources to drive her assignments in order to meet targets.

Due to her quality leadership roles, she had served as Head, Monitoring, Enforcement & Compliance – (Public Procurement Agency),working in collaboration with the LIRS and the buy-in of the General Manager, PPA, she introduced the verification of e-receipts for the payments of Admin. Fees on Contract Awards, Registration /Renewal/Upgrading of Contractors Registration. The objective of this was to improve the revenue base of the Agency by checking fraudulent payments.

Amongst other targets efficiently and effectively met, Sunkanmi Oyegbola had actively performed the following ad hoc State assignments:

  • Secretariat Team member (Ministerial Briefing of His Excellency, the Governor- Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode – (June 2015)
  • Rapporteur- 1ST Summit of Association of Retired Heads of Service/Permanent Secretaries – 2015
  • Rapporteur – EXCO/Body of Permanent Secretaries Retreat – October, 2015.
  • Rappoteur, EXCO/Body of Permanent Secretaries Retreat – 2016
  • Rappoteur,  Common Services Retreat (2016)
  • Rappoteur,  Lagos –Kano Economic Summit (Feb. 2018)
  • Secretariat member, Transition Committee of His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo- Olu  2019

In affirmation of her sterling leadership qualities, Mrs. Oyegbola, Olasunkanmi Mopileola was elevated to the position of Director, Service Matters on 19th August, 2019.

She loves reading, motivating upcoming Officers and travelling at her leisure. She is happily married and blessed with children.
