Mrs. Daba Mobolaji Mojisola was born on 16th March, 1966 into the family of Chief and Mrs. Lateef Ishola Balogun- Oluwa, the Odofin ruling House of Oluwa Chieftaincy, Lagos State.
Mrs. Daba Mobolaji, had her First School Leaving Certificate at Salvation Army School, Surulere in 1977 and proceeded to Government College, Agege from where she obtained her General Certificate Examination in 1982. She attended University of Jos in 1982- 1986 where she had her first degree in Sociology.
She was admitted to the University of Lagos, Akoka for her Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Mass Communication which she successfully completed in 1989 and also had her Master’s Degree in Mass Communication in 1990 at the same University.
Mrs. Daba started her career with the Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC) in 1996 as a Commercial Officer 1, on Grade Level 10 before she was re-designated to Admin. Officer.
An astute team player, she has worked as an Administrative Officer in various capacities and had also added value to the Lagos State Public Service in all aspect of administration, such as Personnel Budget, Training, Learning & Development etc. and also performed several representational duties.
In the year, 2000, she formalized her transfer of service from Lagos State Water Corporation to the mainstream of Lagos State Public Service.
Mrs. Daba Mobolaji honed her administrative skill in the service of Lagos State when she was deployed to the Ministry of Information & Strategy and later to Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in the year 2009, as Chief Administrative Officer.
Due to her vast experience and commitment to the public service, she was nominated to chair the committee which compressed the Child Rights Law from booklet to pamphlet for easy readability which was later forwarded to the Ministry of Justice for approval.
She was later deployed to the Public Service Office as Director, Post Service.
Mrs. Daba, Mobolaji also worked as Deputy Director, Admin. & Human Resource in the Office of the Deputy Governor Unit as Private Admin. Officer.
She was thereafter deployed to the Ministry of Agriculture in 2015 where she served for four years.
She recently assumed office as the Director, Administration and Human Resource in Public Service Office on 16th April, 2019.
Mrs. Daba Mobolaji’s contribution to the development of the State is also recognized in view of her participation in the following areas of endeavor amongst others:
- Official representational duties for the Deputy Governor, Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries.
- Team leader for the Administration and Human Resource which coordinated the 5 (Five) duty posts of Administration and Human Resource in the Ministry of Agriculture.
- Think – Tank Officer in decision making process and running of the Administration and Human Resource Department.
Mrs. Daba Mobolaji has passion for Guidance and Counseling with special interest in teaching and presentation skills on Radio and Television. She is a member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Associate member, Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Associate Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). Mrs. Daba, Mobolaji is a quintessential Administrator, Counselor, Publisher and part-time Lecturer per excellence.
She is happily married with children.
