FEMI OGUN-Public Affairs Officer

Mr Emmanuel Olufemi Ogun was born on March 13th 1969 to Mr Richard Babatunde Ilari- Ogun who hails from Agbowa Ikosi Owu , Lagos State and Mrs Ajoke Ilari- Ogun (nee Odutan)  from Sango Ota  in Ogun State,

Mr Emmanuel Olufemi Ogun attended Ade–Oshodi Memorial Baptist School, Lagos for his Primary Education from 1975 – 1981and Victoria Secondary School for his Secondary Education between 1981- 1986, Later proceeded to the Methodist Boys’ High School for his A’ Levels from 1988 – 89. Had his University Education at the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo from 1993 – 1996 where he bagged B.SC in Political Science. Had his Post graduate Diploma PGD in Public Relations and Advertising at the Nigeria Institute of Journalist 2016/2017.

He worked briefly with Mat Amos And Company.A Multi –media outfit (Producer of FOOTBALL CLASSIC, between 1997 to 1999 before he Joined the Lagos State Civil Service in 2000 as Information Officer Grade Level O8.

He was deployed in March 2000 as Press/Public Relations Officer to the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, and from there he was posted to Head, Public Relations Unit, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Lagos State AIDS Control Agency, Ministry of Science and Technology, Lagos State Public Procurement Agency and Office of the Head of Service/Public Service Office between November 2015 and February 2016.

Mr Olufemi Ogun before his deployment back to the Office of the Head of Service in November 2017 served briefly between September 2017 to October 2017 at the Office of the Public Defender as the Head, Public Affairs Unit, after he has served in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation from February 2016 to September 2017.

With over 17 years’ experience as a Public Relations Practitioner. A Member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Member Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ)

Part of the Lagos State Delegation to World Leadership Award in London, December 2006 where Lagos State emerged Best City in Science and Technology Category.

He enjoyed Reading, Travelling and Playing Football. Married with 2 children.
