LAGOS HOS CONGRATULATES SPEAKER MUDASIRU OBASA ON BIRTHDAY


… As PSO Female Team Trumps Others at Y2023 Speaker’s Game

The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro on Saturday felicitated the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudasiru Obasa on his birthday celebration, wishing him more glorious years on Earth.

Congratulating the Speaker, Agoro stated that Rt. Hon. Obasa is an outstanding man with a distinct personality, a seasoned Politician and a legislator par excellence who has endeared himself to all and sundry with his noble acts.

The Lagos Head of Service, therefore, prayed that the Almighty Allah shall continue to bless, strengthen and uphold him with him long life full of joy, happiness and sound health.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro has applauded the performance of Team Public Service Office (PSO) for doing the Office proud at the just concluded annual Speaker’s Game competition held on Saturday at Lagos State House of Assembly Playing Ground.

He stated that he was overwhelmed seeing both male and female teams performing beyond expectations, in the Tug of War and Football Competition, saying “I was impressed with their skills and the level of sportsmanship they showcased right from the beginning of the competition”.

He, however, noted that the essence of any competition is to encourage the psychomotor development of a healthy and alert workforce towards the provision of effective and efficient service delivery to Lagosians.

At the end Speaker’s Game organised as part of activities marking Rt. Hon. Obasa’s birthday celebration, Team PSO won the Football Competition in the female category by defeating the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) team with a 1-0 scoreline. Also, Team PSO took the second position in the Tug of War male category.

Government functionaries present at the event include Honourable Members, Lagos State House of Assembly, Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC) Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Tayo Ayinde, Members of the State Executive Council, Chairmen and Members of Statutory Commissions, Body of Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Ministerial Agencies among others.
