As part of the commitment made by the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in facilitating and fostering a conducive environment that is befitting of the public servants, the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, on Wednesday, embarked on the spot assessment of the State Staff Quarters across the State.
The HoS said the visit is aimed at having an overview of all the existing structures and making necessary improvements towards providing adequate and befitting State Staff Quarters for the workforce.
This will also assist the present administration in planning for more blocks of flats to reduce the accommodation deficit among the State’s public servants.
The areas visited include Ladipo Bateye Street; Sobo Arobiodu Street, and Remi Fani-Kayode Street all in GRA, Ikeja.
Those who accompanied the Head of Service on the visit include the Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office, Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola and her counterpart in the Office of Works, Arc. Odusanya Adebayo; Secretary, Staff Housing Board, Mr. Abdulrafiu Fashola; Director, Lands Bureau, Surv. Mobolape Adebayo-Okeke and the Principal Private Secretary to the Head of Service, Mr. Bola Adeyiga among others.
