MURI-OKUNOLA FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFUL ON EID-EL-FITRI CELEBRATION
The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola has expressed his gratitude and sincere appreciation to Allah for the completion of the Year 2023 Ramadan Fast being observed by all the Muslim faithful in the State.
He particularly thanked Allah on behalf of the Muslim brethren in the Lagos State Public Service.
Muri-Okunola said that he is grateful because Allah granted everyone sound health and protection during the fasting period.
He, therefore, charged all Muslims to imbibe the lessons taught by clerics and the teaching of the Holy Quran, while admonishing Muslims to continually pray as they did during the fasting period.
“Fasting is truly the only means to seek Allah’s will, protection and forgiveness. You have to continually observe all the prayer time as done during the holy month of Ramadan”, he noted.
The Head of Service also urged public servants in the state not to relent in discharging their duties effectively and efficiently to Lagosians with the fear of God.
While praying that Allah showers his love and blessings on everyone, Muri-Okunola expressed confidence that God will accept their sacrifices and forgive their sins.
“I wish everyone a very Happy Eid Mubarak 2023. May Allah shower his blessings on us all and make our state peaceful and prosperous”, he prayed.
